BEVERLY HILLS TOWER

Al Asmakh Real Estate Development owns a large collection of prime properties in Doha that run the gamut from shops to office up to market showrooms to residential towers. Sitting in an area of 93,000 square meters, Beverly Hills Towers has 316 luxury apartments (2-3 bedrooms) and duplexes that are fully – furnished and built with high-end facilities. The 33-story tower was part of the Asian Games project to host the media delegates from different countries.

 

Almana networks provided wireless internet access, telephone and data cabling for the tower. The network was also managed by us for the entire duration of the games. The network was built using category 6 cables and category 3 cables were used for telephone network, the data center in the basement hosted our networking infrastructure.

 



ALFARDAN TWIN TOWERS

Alfardan Twin Towers

The Alfardan group is one of the biggest business groups in Qatar & has diversified interest in the field of Automobiles, Jewellery, Exchange & Trading, Real Estate & Marine Services. The Alfardan Twin Towers with floor counts of 26 & 40 are situated in the West Bay area of Doha. The towers are developed for commercial as well as residential purposes with a built-up area of 110,116 sq m. The requirement was to provide wireless internet access for the whole tower and the common areas, and the podium.

 

The design of wireless network involved us to create and backplane for data networking and building a central data center with redundancy for uptime. Category 6 cables were used to connect the access points in each floors, every three floors had an IDF which was interconnected using fiber to the MDF in the QTel room at the basement. HP switches and Cisco access points were used to power the wireless network. CCTV cameras were deployed in data center and fire suppression system was installed in the basement to protect critical infrastructure.

 

 


 

Qatar Navigation Tower


QATAR NAVIGATION TOWER

Qatar Navigation is a maritime container and freight transport company with interests in import and distribution of construction equipments, shipping and communication devices etc. Qatar Navigation Tower is a 52-storey tower with a total built-up area of 116,671 sq. metres located near the City Center, Doha. Our work included providing state-of-the art IP telephony solution with call servers, signaling servers, gateways, gatekeepers, media gateways etc. We have supplied & configured core & edge switches providing 1 GB network to end users.

 

Our scope also included installing fire optic backbone for facility management offices to be occupied by Qatargas as well as a complete rectifier/charger-battery inverter system with automatic static switch & maintenance by-pass circuit.

 

 

 


 

Silhoutte Tower


SILHOUETTE TOWER

The tower is 59 floors located in West Bay, Doha, Qatar. The tower includes 365 hotel rooms and 180 serviced apartments. The tower also includes car parking with capacity of 500 cars. Qatar Islamic Bank is financing the project for the owner Mohamed Bin Ajaj Al Kubaisi. The consultant Hill International is a global leader in managing construction risk has 2,300 employees in 80 offices worldwide and provides program management, project management, construction management and construction claims and consulting services. Our scope of work included installing a public address system to provide evacuation messages to occupants in case of fire emergency and background music in normal situations. Our work also included installing a centralized integrated CCTV System, which interfaces mainly with Building System Integration and other systems users, thus providing flexibility of image display and storage as required by the authorized users.

 

Finally, an Integrated Access Control System would be installed supporting features such as area control (two man control, hard, soft, and timed anti-passback), database segmentation, and time zone/holiday overrides.

 

 

 


 

Woqod Tower

Woqod is a public listed company in Qatar operating in Oil & Gas industry with interests in marketing & distribution of LPG & transportation & storage of natural gas. With a budget of around $ 100 million & a total built-up area of around 42,000 sq m., Woqod Office Tower is arguably one of the most state-of-the art towers to come up in Qatar. Our Scope of work included Fully Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm System comprising of a range of analogue addressable, microprocessor based fire alarm control equipments; A Voice Alarm System integrated with the fire detection system capable of providing public address & Back Ground Music; A Building Management System consisting of computerized control and monitoring system with distributed intelligent outstation controllers on a local network (LAN).

 

The Building Management System is integrated with fire alarm system & PA system for control & monitoring. Computerized Automatic Controls are provided for the mechanical services installation of Automatic Controls System and Building Management System (BMS).
